About these terms
These terms of use govern your access to and use of www.chroma-networks.com, operated by Chroma Networks Ltd (company no. 10658673), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Chroma Networks Ltd, and "you" means the person accessing the site. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
About this website
This is the marketing and portfolio website of Chroma Networks Ltd, an independent optical and transmission network design consultancy. The site describes our capabilities, sectors and past work. It does not offer goods or services for sale online and does not itself form any agreement to provide consultancy services.
Consultancy services are contracted separately
Nothing on this site constitutes an offer, quotation or contract for engineering, design or consultancy services. Any engagement between us is governed solely by a separate written agreement, proposal or statement of work signed by both parties. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails for the services it covers.
No professional advice
The technical content on this site, including capability summaries, case studies and insights, is provided for general information only. It reflects our experience on named programmes and is not engineering, design or professional advice for your project. You should not act, or refrain from acting, in reliance on it. Formal design outputs are issued only under a signed engagement and against agreed requirements and standards.
Accuracy of programme references
References to clients, contracts and programmes describe work carried out by Chroma Networks Ltd or its principal in a design or consultancy capacity. Named third parties, employers and delivery partners retain their own rights in their marks and materials, and their inclusion does not imply their endorsement of this site. We take care to describe past work accurately and within the bounds of applicable confidentiality obligations.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all content on this site, including text, layout, diagrams, animations, the Chroma Networks name and brand assets, is owned by or licensed to Chroma Networks Ltd and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own reference. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or exploit any part of the site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
You must use the site lawfully. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, any server or any connected system; introduce malicious code; place undue load on the infrastructure; scrape or harvest content at scale; or use the contact form to send unsolicited marketing, misleading information or abusive material. We may withdraw access to any person who breaches these terms.
Client portal
Parts of this site link to a secure client portal that is not yet generally available. Access to the portal, when live, is by invitation and is governed by separate access terms issued at that time. Those terms apply in addition to these terms of use.
Availability of the site
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the site without notice for maintenance, development or operational reasons. We are not liable to you if the site is unavailable at any time.
Links to other sites
Where the site links to third-party websites or resources, those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of external sites, and a link does not imply our endorsement of them.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. This clause does not affect the liability provisions of any separate signed engagement agreement.
Privacy and cookies
Our handling of personal data and cookies is described in our privacy policy and cookie policy, which form part of your use of this site.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the site.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the site, our business or applicable law. The last-updated date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly, and the terms in force are those published here when you use the site.
